Welcome to Japan! On arrival in Tokyo, you’ll be met and transferred by private vehicle to your lovely accommodations. Depending scheduled on your flight’s arrival time we typically recommend keeping your first evening free, both in case of unexpected flight delays, and also to account for possible fatigue from the long journey.
Settle in, adjust to your exciting new surroundings, and get ready for your adventure ahead!

Today is your first full day to begin taking in the Tokyo metropolis. You’ll begin with an immersive half-day tour introducing you to the city, and end with an exciting evening out at a lively izakaya.

Today you will leave Tokyo behind and travel to nearby Hakone National Park. Hakone is a mountainous area just outside of Tokyo, best known for its luxury ryokans, soothing onsen (hot springs), and on clear days stunning views of the iconic Fujisan (Mount Fuji).

Bullet Train to Kyoto
*Early morning at leisure to relax in your calming Japanese-style surroundings. Have a soak in the onsen, followed by a beautiful Japanese breakfast.
Then it’s time to depart. You’ll be speeding Central Japan west through central Japan via Japan’s iconic shinkansen (bullet train), a wonderfully pleasant way to travel. Eating and drinking on long-distance trains is a Japanese tradition: make sure to pick up a seasonal bento box (and some sake) for the journey.

Kyoto is full of famous sights, but to experience the city on a deeper level it’s also essential to spend time wandering off the beaten path.
No trip to Kyoto would be complete without visiting some of its remarkable temples, shrines, and gardens. For your time in the ancient capital, you will have the chance to take in an exceptional selection of Kyoto’s gems, carefully curated around your unique priorities and interests.

A day at Kyoto and Nara Enjoy breakfast served at the hotel and head out towards the pickup point for the sightseeing adventures scheduled for today. Experience the many beautiful attractions of Kyoto, namely Nijo Castle, Kinkaku-Ji, and the Kyoto Imperial Palace. Have lunch on your own and continue with the tour. In Nara, go to Todaiji temple and the Nara Park to catch a glimpse of the deer roaming about
in the wilderness. The last stop would be at Kasuga Taisha, a Shinto shrine. Return to the hotel after an eventful day for an overnight stay.

A free day in Osaka
Indulge in a hearty breakfast meal at the hotel and check-out (max. By 10:00 AM). Hop on the local train heading towards Osaka. This journey is going to take you around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the hotel in Osaka, check- in at the hotel reception and enjoy the remaining day at leisure. Head out if you like and explore around on your own. Return to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

It’s time to head back to Tokyo Gorge upon the tasty breakfast provided to you at the hotel and get packed. Enjoy the day at leisure and venture out on your own. Make the most of this time and indulge in shopping and sightseeing (at own expense). You could pay a visit to Tempozan Market, Lukua Mall or the Umeda area. At the end of your leisure time, catch a bullet train to Tokyo and stay overnight at the hostel.TE
